Registering

If you are already registered on other sections of Ozfreeonline, you can use the same login ID and password on the Auctions section.

To register press on “Register now” at the top of your screen or visit
http://www.ozfreeonline.com/auctions/register.php and enter your details. You must fill in all fields.

Once you have completed the registration, you will be sent an email to confirm it is you that have registered. Click the confirm link on this email and your account will be activated. You are now ready to use ozfreeonline.com/auctions

Bidding

To bid on any item, simply select that item to preview its information. You can ask the seller a question about the item by logging in and submitting your question at the bottom of the page of the item.

Enter your bid into the area provided on the right hand side and press the ‘GO'' button

If you have not registered, you will then be asked to register. If you are a registered user already and you are not logged in, you will be asked to enter your username and password. Once you have entered your user name and password your bid will be registered.

If your bid is the winning bid you will be sent an email with the seller''s details and the seller will also be sent an email with your details to complete the transaction as agreed between you.

You are able to watch the item you have bid on at any time by logging onto ozfreeonline and following the link in your Control Panel. You are able to see everything about the auction including:

· Who is the highest bidder?

· Auction type, when started, when ending

· When the auction ends

· Starting Bid

· Bidding History

· Current Bid

· Minimum bid

· Reserve price (if any)

· Shipping conditions

Selling

To sell an item you will need to register. For help on registering see “Registering” in “other help topics” Once you have registered you are able to start listing items. It is absolutely free to list your item on ozfreeonline.

To list an item, press on the “Sell an item” at the top of your screen. You are then able to enter the item you wish to auction as well as description, picture, standard or dutch auction, the quantity, the price you wish to start the bidding at, reserve price, the increments you want the bidding to go up in each time someone bids, Duration you want the auction to run for, shipping conditions, payment methods, the category you want to list the item in or a suggested category if the you don''t think the category is available that fits the description of what you are selling.

You can monitor your auction by logging into your ozfreeonline Auctions Control Panel. Sometimes, bidders will ask you questions about your item. To reply to a question, visit the page of the item and at the bottom of the page, and enter your answer in the area provided. You will need to be logged in order to do this.

Your details will be provided to the winning bidder, and you will receive the details of the winning bidder so you can contact each other to complete the transaction.

Please remove your auction when your auction has concluded.

General & FAQ

Welcome to OzfreeOnline Auctions, a web site that lets you buy and sell items in auction format. It does not cost anything to list your items.

Registered users may place items up for auction and may bid on other user’s items. To register, you must provide your name, an address, and your email address. You must be 18 years or older.

When selling an item, you may enter a description of the item, upload a photograph, and indicate the minimum bid and a reserve price for the item. You also indicate what payments you will accept and whether you or the buyer will pay shipping.

Sellers are notified by email when an auction is concluded. If a winner exists, the winner and seller are provided each other’s contact information.
